If only I could find my tapestry needles, this sweater would be done...
and these socks would be blocking.
Last night I broke down and purchased some new needles at Joann's, and yep, you guessed it - today I found the missing ones.
And if I had remembered to take my knitting to work the other day, a day that included two hours of mind-numbing, soul-sucking meetings, I would be two hours closer to having another pair of socks done.
I hear ya! I hate being stuck in a boring event with no knitting. Or when I misplace the tool I need and have a long car ride with no way to continue my project! Maybe I need to pack extra stuff in all of our cars? Can't wait to see the finishes!
ReplyDeleteOh, they're both going to be great!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how many yarn needles I've purchased over the years--probably a very scary amount. They disappear, reappear, disappear--then when I am in desperation, the stores will be out of them or only have the plastic ones with the ball on the end that I don't like. I hate grafting enough as it is--making it harder is just torture!
What's the baby sweater pattern? I may need that for my coworker's upcoming, gender-unidentified baby! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThe baby sweater pattern is Ribbed Jacket from "Special Knits" by Debbie Bliss.
