Lost Weekend

Not really a lost weekend, but there was a big hole in the middle of it. I don't always sleep well, and a nap on Saturday afternoon is not out of the ordinary. Yesterday I lay down on the couch to catch a few Z's. Two hours later I woke up in a stupor that I never really recovered from until this morning. I hate it when that happens.

More knitting has occurred. Heels have been turned. A gusset has been started. The Cherry Tree Hill yarn is looking quite elegant.

In fact, I'm thinking this design would make a nice pair of mittens or arm warmers. Socks for the hands!

You are right that would make a great pair of mitts.

I love the way it is coming out. The yarn is perfect.

Thanks for stopping by earlier. I've been looking at some of the photos on your blog and I'm really impressed. I'm not a terrible knitter, but I don't have the patience to do much more than a scarf (or a potholder). I also sometimes just call my blocking square a coaster and call it a day.
